United Earth is the name of the planetary state created through the unification of Earth and was established after Earth's first contact with the Vulcan's in the late 21st century. Based out of the Sol system on the edge of the Alpha and Beta quadrants, Earth has colonies in a number of systems including Alpha Centauri, Deneva and Vega.

 

Humans, the native species of Earth are renown throughout the quadrant as new to the interstellar community and often judgemental. During their short time in space, they have entered into open conflict with more than one species and have nearly been destroyed themselves.

 

They are one of the founding members of the Interstellar Coalition, an alliance of various governmental powers in local space.
